Default Vista? 64 or 32?

With my current rig, I am looking at the getting vista with the dx10 goodies. I have xp and planing on dual booting. Does the 64bit still suffer from driver support?

Go with 64-bit, to take advantage of the whole 4GB of RAM you have. Most (if not all) recent hardware will have 64-bit drivers available.

No, Vista 64 does not have driver issues. I have used both Vista 32 and 64. IMO 64 is just as reliable as 32 bit. Every game I own works as well as Itunes and other programs. My vote is for Vista 64.

edit: I voted for 64 Home Premium because it can be found for a lot less then Ultimate, but still has a lot of features. it is lacking the Dream Scene screensaver, but I cant think of anything else.

If you are a student, you can find it for $69.

I've used Vista Ultimate x64 for the weekend, here are some things you might consider:
-C&C3 Tiberium Wars is not compatible at all
-It takes some tweaking to get some applications work around the driver signature thing (you can disable the driver signature but you are required not to install 4 updates which could be quite useful)
-Most antivirus are compatible
-It's blazing fast
-There is a patch that you should apply if you are using a webcam and have 4GB of RAM or else you will have green lines all over the video output
-Wireless is the problem, some wireless cards aren't supported at all, some are supported with errors (for instance mine has 64-bit drivers through the chip manufacturer, but whenever I would upload something, the PC would lock up, speedtest.net would crash during the upload part)
-You get improvements in Crysis
-Rivatuner works
-The best defragmenting software for it is Auslogic Disk Defrag
-Spyware Doctor isn't compatible

and the lists continues...

If I didn't have my wireless issue, I would HAVE definitly stayed on Vista x64, but the fact that I can't even upload a single little file attachement to my email makes it completly useless.

Vista 64. No reason not to if your CPU supports it.

Vista 64 -- 32bit Vista is a pointless upgrade from XP. Personally I'd recommend Business unless you have a dire need for Media Center or Parental Controls. It'll be supported longer, is less bloated and can handle up to 128GB of ram vs Premiums 8GB or so.
