Default A folder using up 50% CPU usage?

For some reason whenever I open up a folder such as Documents in Vista Ultimate 32 bit, Explorer.exe will go up to 50% CPU usage, and stay there for at least 20 seconds and doesn't go away when I close the window unless that 20 or so seconds has gone by. I turned off Aero glass and got the same thing.

Anyone who whats causing this?

Interesting. How long has it been since you've reinstalled vista? Perhaps your registry is borked. Or your SATA drivers could be doing it. I'd suggest reinstalling chipset drivers, defragmenting, and running some sort of registry cleaning wizard, such as ccleaner.

Reinstalling chipset drivers.....*Sigh* Well heres the thing, I never installed the chipset drivers. I have a feeling it would be a good idea.

The INF file has been updating for about 20 minutes now. Is that normal? I'm thinking not....

Hahaha! I clicked the wrong file.
