Default Changing video resolution in Vista Media Center?

Right, so I just bought a TV tuner card (Hauppauge PVR-150) and there are no problems whatsoever... except VMC's interface is too user friendly... so much that there is no option for changing the resolution.

As a result, it stretches video to 1280x1024 which makes it look horrible. I would much rather have it add black borders, or if somebody knows how, even pass it through Avisynth to improve video quality.

Thanks!

A few options, try changing your desktop resolution and that should change your Media Center resolution as well. Also if you go into the settings and select setup up your display/monitor/or what ever media center calls it, I am almost sure it asks you about the resolution. Lastly, right click your image, and select zoom, you may have one of the zoom settings selected that is stretching your image.

Let me know if that works, and I'll try to give you some more suggestions if it doesn't.
