So now that I got my chip set drivers installed for some stupid, idiotic reason. The Control panel will close right after I open it, The personalize option when I right clicking the desktop also isn't working or clicking my picture icon on the start menu.

Oh, and reinstalling is not an option. Repairing however, yes.

No problem anymore, but if anyone else has this problem do the following.

1) Launch services.msc from a run command
2) Find the Software Licensing service & stop it (it may say that ReadyBoost needs that service to run; stop it anyway)
3) Find the SL UI Notification and restart it. (May not be needed.)
4) Restart Software Licensing.

Open up the control panel and be amazed! :P
