Default Vista CPU Useage?

Why is it that when my computer is completley idle does it take 100% of my 4th core when i scribble my mouse accross the screen?

Yeah Aero is on.. I don't think it's any scanning going on, cus at idle all cores are at 0% load but when i move the mouse from one side to another core 4 shoots up. I just didn't know so much CPU power was required to move a mouse cursor.

Im guessing you have a 124306235986 dpi mouse + LCD Screen built-in that sucks up so much power it needs a core to be able to run Like Szayat said, run process explorer
