ok this is the most odd issue i have ever encounterd. lets see if we can put our heads together and resolve this. I cannot connect to anything that requires a server. I cant do this on my laptop and my desktop. very odd because it both happend at the same time. I can get online and browse and i even bought some stuff today. It started when i couldnt get on world of warcraft game server. Then i noticed that my thunderbird email wouldnt get any of my mail, then ventrillo cant connect to server. Mind u this is on both my lappy and my desktop. very odd. I can ping using Command Prompt to google, thottbot, yahoo, ect. but wont ping worldofwarcraft.com. I am using vista home premium on both machines. What could be the cause of this? How can i fix this?

try resetting your modem and if present router ,see if that helps
