I really love this utility. It just annoys me that the button is in the taskbar. I have an Mx518 mouse and I would love to program the switch button on that to work like the windows utility. Is there any way to do this? I installed the Logitech viewpiont software but it is not giving me any options.

First, you can use Start + Tab on your keyboard. Second, you need Logitech setpoint to set binding. It is relatively self-explanatory once you have it running; just select the button, and for the action select "flip 3d"; if "flip 3d" isn't an option, choose custom "launch application", and point it to flip 3d. You can also add it as a right click option, see this. See also

can you map keyboard shortcuts to a mouse button in the logitech software?

The logitech setpoint software does not give me ANY options. It does not even show me the layout of my mouse, no buttons, nothing. This has been a constant issue with Windows Vista with many models of mice, but they seem not to give a rats butt.

Yes, but it won't recognize the Super key (windows key) as a valid keystroke. If you change the binding for the keyboard shortcut, you could do that as well.

Try uninstalling the software, then go here and grab it again. Be sure to select the right OS (32 v 64 bit)
