I believe you only need that if you want to install third party raid drivers when your installing, please correct me if I am wrong.
I do not need to use my floppy drive when I install that very same OS

As dmbjohn stated, you should only need a floppy when installing raid drivers. Just boot from the cd and format etc and you should be all set

Go to bios set your cd rom on top so when you are booting up, It will boot from there first. On screen you will see"boot from cd" click any key. Then you will be booting up for cd.

dont hit anykeys when it says to...or take out the cd after it says to restart and put it back in when it asks for something off the cd...which is when you leave it in till you reboot again....cause if its booting off the cd and installing all the stuff needed to start the rest...and then starts all over again...sounds like your not letting the 5 seconds run out before it skips over the cd....oh well hope some of this helps....AT all :P

Like terraprime said, don't let it boot from CD after it all ready does the format. (The blue screen thing) Just let the computer boot normally from the HDD. They installation will still use the disc to copy files so don't take it out!
