some of the only problems i have had with vista are IE x64. The majority of ActiveX plug-ins wont install on a x64 IE. youtube come to mind the most. you have to open x32 IE to view things like that. but thats really not that bad...

To me all these new features in vista aren't worth $100-200 more.
Same here, man. Although saying the features aren't worth it could apply to some but not others. For you and I, apparently, I would say that the additional features don't warrant an upgrade. But also, like you, if I didn't have an OS, I would get vista to begin with. And I don't need features or anything since all I do is game - no internet, no school work - just gaming. My windows computers don't run any other programs.

I love Vista 64 bit, the only problem is S3 Sleep mode. For some reason it doesnt wake back up so i just turned sleep off. I think it may be Nvidia drivers. Overall i love the whole Vista experance alot better than XP. It is a lot more responsive.

A lot of people have been saying that the 64-bit version is pretty good. One complaint came with IE7... Wait, that's not a valid complaint anyway *cough* Firefox *cough*. I might try the 64-bit version, but the 32-bit was the worse experience I've ever had. *Double click* !BOOP! "You are trying to access [program]! Are you sure!?"

YES!! I'M FREAKING SURE!
