Default Expanding userspace in 32bit systems

Hey, I just got FakeFactory's Cinematic Mod for Half-Life 2, and it says that it was designed for 64bit systems. Is there a way to up the Userspace in a 32bit environment to make it playable?

Perhaps, but changing the volume of the userspace isn't recommended. Many have utilized this 'trick' to squeeze more usable ram in 32-bit environs. Look up '4GB of memory not working or similar' in google.

I'm very curious as to why this would require that much memory though. I've been meaning to give this one a try (the new alyx is hot). Luckily for me, I've a 64-bit OS.

He simply said that a 32bit Environment did not have enough Userspace. But I can still run it. It works okay. I just can't turn on AA. Instacrash.

People change the kernel space allocation to allow more for apps, but doing so can compromise your OS's stability. If AA is that important (it makes all the difference in that game though), I'd at least look it up.
