Default How To: Create a Shortcut for Task Manager
Tired of pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL?

Do the following (on WinXP):

Go "Search" for "taskmgr."

This should lead you to "taskmgr" in your C:\Windows\system32. Right click this and "Send to Desktop (Create Shortcut)."

As a bonus option, you can configure it to start minimized in your system tray: Click on the shortcut you just created, click on "View," and select all the options. Then right click the shortcut, select "Properties," and under "Run" select "Minimized."

Presto! A Task Manager shortcut on your desktop, and it'll go to your system tray on activation.

Edit: D'oh! I thought you needed a how-to...

I did! Then I realized how easy it was to do, so I quickly turned this into a "How To". REP for the help though!
