Yeah I meant as in formatting the drive to get rid of it forever. I am getting sick of it and its bsod's and crashing that I cant seem to fix.

In order for me to keep time to a minimum, is there a website that explains how to do a quick format and all that? I havent had to format and install a new os in a long time.. I just know when I used to do it I had lots of issues with ntldr errors and the like.

1. Boot from your Windows XP CD.
2. Wait for the disc to finish loading drivers
3. Hit "Install"
4. It will take you to a screen with your available hard disk partitions
5. Select the partition you want to delete and hit L
6. It will ask you to confirm, confirm and the drive will be wiped
7. Then reformat the whole drive in NTFS (hit C while you have the unallocated space selected)
8. Then Install XP.
