Question Standy / Restart Issues

Alright I'm guessing this is where I post this...
When OC'ed above 3 ghz and enter standy I'll wake up and turn my system on just to see it crash instantly and my idiotic mobo doing its lil OC crash protection thing for like 5 mins...

And as for the restarting I can click Shutdown and it works fine but if I click Restart it just sits there at shutting down as the mouse and keyboard are sleeping!!!

And maybe I dunno I may have fixed it but latley I've been getting an obnoxious lockup / repeated sound then it will recover within a minute or so I can be stock voltage everything default so I know its not the overclock and if by chance you know what could cause this please say so :>.. but for now It's been calm but it may just do it when I least expect it as usual...

Have you looked in Event Viewer. That's a good place to start.

Yeah I look in there quite a bit every other day or so, things seemed to look normal I've cleared it I'll reboot n such a lil later and double check but if I click restart I end up having to just push the power button.=/

Edit::: Well apparently for the shutdown issue from what I can tell it could be. ( Userenv )

Description:
Windows saved user TUX\Shadow registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.

I've tried UPHClean but will not work and cannot find much more on the subject.

As for the lil lockup things its still happening just not near as much or long just slight skips now so I have no idea what could cause them as heat n such is not an issue.
