Default By pass windows verification

hey im currently helping out a guy at school install windows xp and the install goes fine but it requires us to validate windows. we tried to validate and we cant because the drivers arent installed for the NIC. is there anyway to bypass this so i can install the drivers and then validate?

Heh, sounds illegal.

Do you have a CD for the drivers? What you do is let it try and do it online then you'll eventually get to a point where you can open IE, from there just go to File > Open and then select the setup.exe.

Also, you could type explorer.exe and have it load the desktop and taskbar and such.

Either way, the mobo should have an onboard NIC which you should have the drivers from which if you put the CD in and select boot of the CD it will boot and install it all for you.

well its not trying to be illegal cause i have the cd key and everything its just being a pain with the drivers......but its reinstalling now so ill try both of ur guy's ideas and tell you if they work

Your not really doing anything illegal. Solution 3 will let you run the drivers. Then after you got them installed, you should be able to validate legitimately

well i tried the validate thing to get to internet explorer but never got the internet explorer.....just says failed to connect to validate server.
