Default Obsession with Maintenance?

Does anybody else have an absolute obsession with maintaining their rig?

Like sometimes I'll find myself having more fun defragmenting and anti-virus scanning, than I do playing CoD4 lol (rare but yea)..

I dunno, I'm just like absolutely obsessed with finding cool new software and stuff just to tweak my system. Shh. Don't tell anyone in my real life that I said that. They already think I'm a big enough geek.

lol.

But on that note, for those of you who share my enjoyment, what software do you all use?

Yeah, i'm obsessed with dust.....i have to have a shiny rig.

One of my worst obsessions probably shared by many others is desktop icons, they have to lined up exactly and be spaced to the nearest mm.

Sadly I'm almost Obsessive compulsive as well.

I've been accumulating dust on my rig as of late, due to the ornate piece of dog dung named the "ionic breeze". Spent upwards of $300 on one previously.

The other day I decided to take it out due to being sick as a dog and hoping for some relief. It smelt so fresh, little did I know that that smell was actually a toxic level of Ozone streaming through my room.

Now all the air inside my room is ionized and dust clings to static surfaces like there is no tomorrow. I'm nearly having to clean daily.

How happy I was to see Sharper Image go bankrupt.

OMG me too.

I have a combined 800 gigs of HDD.

And I defragment them constantly, and organize them, and delete stuff, and move stuff between all 4 partitions.

I keep my icons organized by type, and I haver inner conflicts on whether to keep certain icons or whatever.

And since I keep my rig under my desk, I dust it off probably daily, but I wipe my screens more often than my case. Probably twice a day.

Hell yes. And then I get pissed if it's not more than like 40mb of data. And I get excited when it's like 200MB.

And when I use AVG or something, I love finding threats and getting rid of them. And Adaware too .

Lots of sick puppies in here...

On the other hand, I just finished swapping out a perfectly good CPU cooler and changed out case fans and put my rig back together just a few minutes ago. I spent the last few hours cleaning everything too, just before reassembling the machine.
