this n00b again

hey i have a desktop computer with a valid OEM XP PRO CD KEY i bought while ago. i'm trying to reformat the computer because the registry i think is messed up. when i try to use the machine i keep getting errors like xxx is not found, xxx is missing.

I have the CD key, because i put the sticker on the inside of the desktop. but i've been running around flipping my room inside out to find the cd, and i can't find it. is there a way i can reinstall it some how?

2) The 8 PIN power connector on the MOBO is 2x 4pin power connectors combined in parallel to draw more power safely. 1x 4pin power plug will work, but you should think of an upgrade.
3) If you're running x64 OS and have more than 3GB ram installed but windows is only reporting around 3GB, Go into your bios and enable Memory remapping.

You can download an ISO from a site, but you need to make sure it's the right version (OEM). Then you can use your own key to proceed with installation.

It IS, in fact, legal. When you bought your windows, you paid for the key, not the disk. You can get a disk from anywhere as long as you're using the key that you paid for.

You should go find the disk, though
