So last night I reinstall XP on my server, but I didn't do the full reinstall, the install where it keeps all your programs and settings and just reinstalls windows files. So after that I need to download updates again but as soon as the updates start to download they all fail (all 91 of them). Keep in mind, I'm not getting any error code from the Windows Update page, they just all fail for some reason. I've tried Googling for an answer but aside from "windows updates fails" I wasn't really sure what I was looking for and none of those results seemed to fit my problem.
Any ideas what this could be?

Happened to me a few years back and I had to reformat again to fix it....
![]() Probably a bogus installation, if your server is overclocked, do you remember to set it back to 100% stock before reformating? I've basically learned that 1) install windows, 2) install drivers restarting inbetween each, 3) windows update, 4) Start messing around with other stuff. I use to install programs/change settings while windows update was running which is a bad thing to do.
