Default Is your Vista UAC on or off?

UAC = User Account Control...the highly annoying window that pops up asking if you want to continue or let a certain program run.

Off for me...and WOW what a change! No more annoying windows when opening up CPUZ, CoreTemp, etc.

Steps to enable/disable:

Control Panel---> Classic View--->User Accounts--->Turn User Account Control On or Off--->uncheck the box

Off.

Everyone is smarter than UAC. Therefore, no one needs it.

As soon as I found out that you could turn it off w/o having crashes/instability, i jumped on the boat too, haha.

Off for me, since it's pointless to click another time - unless you're getting trojaned or alike.
That means close to never for me.

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.
