Default Vista SP1= Half HD GONE!
Okay I installed Vista SP1 x64 for my desktop and all of a sudden I go from 300GB used to.....

175GB!!!! *** IS THIS? Im running a RAID 0 Array and no page files n such... but half my HDD 'dissapeared' or i was just reduced by 160GB

Dont get me wrong, I like that im back down to 25% Usage....but where the EFF did it go?

This happened to me the other day, But it was before I had even downloaded SP1, It was really weird, after a few restarts it was back to normal.

Maybe reinstalling your sata raid drivers will fix this? (I had to reinstall my network drivers to get them working normally again).

If you didn't have raid drivers, it wouldn't work. I would update them. Windows probally installed some crappy ones itself, I would get some real ones in ASAP.

Maybe windows default drivers doesn't see all you driver for some reason (I'm just speculating here) and updating them with the newest ones might fix that.

I know the default drivers didn't work proper for my raid 0 (pre-SP1 tho).

Well Turns out I have some kind of driver installed because its up to date

And Im seein all my drives/space

its just the USED part went from 300GB used to 175GB used
