Default Vista Ultimate 64

I'm not familiar with Windows Vista but would soon like to upgrade to it. I was wondering if anyone knew where (online) I could buy a full copy of Vista Ultimate 64 Bit. I was searching and noticed some were big in price difference so I was just wondering where you all found your copies.

I was gonna get an OEM version because it was under $200 but I guess if you change your motherboard that the OS becomes disabled.

Thanks for any kind help.

OEM or Retail?

I would like to buy the OEM version but I've had a mobo die over the last eyar and would be pretty upset if not only my mobo died again but my OS would be deactivated too.

i bought the OEM. I've had OEM copies before, and I just called Microsoft and told them it was a reinstall on the same computer, and they gave me a code to activate it.

It would be, but you just have to reactivate by phone and tell them why you are reactivating.

Alright, thanks a lot. I think I'll be set with an OEM version then. I also noticed most others have the OEM version over the retail.

Thanks guys.

Saved me some money.
