windows vista 64 oem
__________________can i install it onto a hard drive and then reinstall in onto a different hard drive. Using the same mobo etc each time? this is because my HD has not come yet and i want to use my pc so i want to use an old HD

You can change every piece of hardware BUT your motherboard if you have Vista OEM.
So yes, you can install it on your old HDD, to test, and then install it on your new one when it comes.

Yes you can But Remember it is OEM so its only allowed to work on 1 computer and Be aware that After a few windows activations microsoft will try to terminate that key (has happend to me).. My Advice is to wait for that Hard drive to come and install it once..
