Default To all Windows XP SP3 owners...

I heard of a 10% performance boost with SP3, can you confirm if it's true or not? Also, can you tell me if it is in games, the OS itself, or both?

I know I gained like 300 more points in 3dmark06 for sure and yes to me games do play a little bit more smoother. So far the only games I play in XP SP3 is crysis and bf2142.
