Cause vista use to suck and theyve never given vista a chance since SP1.

I get higher frames in most games in Vista, and I seem to have less errors overall.

see im asking this because i tried sp1 32 bit vista a while back and i got fps drops in cod4, thatwas with an old cpu now thats ive got this new cpu and mobo i should be ok i think.

If that CPU was single core then that would probably be why.

There are some games that score lower frames in vista, but thats a given, it usually is only 2-3 frames at most.

EXACTLY! "I tried it once in beta and it sucked!" The vast majority of Vista complaints are irrelevant now.

If it doesn't have anything you want, don't use it. I personally have had no problems with Vista x64(Just recently started to use Server 2008 x64, it's more stable). If their are certain things that aggravate you about Vista you can most likely change them, that is what I did.

yeah it was a 2.4ghz amd now with this e8400 i should be geting alot more frames. Do i needa enable anything on the bios for 64bit or will it just work?
