I have Windows Vista x86 = 32Bit.

virtualization well It basically will allow you to install various OS's and use them within your current OS within software so i for example could be running vista and decide i want to swap an to a new OS so i could load the program create a file (which acts as a HDD in the program) and install linux, xp or any OS i want onto it in order to try it out or for any other reason.
