so my computer has been running great with vista home premium. but lately, when i startup my computer, it seems to be working, but xfire and aim just freeze halfway through logging in. if i open up firefox a few seconds after the computer loads into vista, it won't open for a minute or two. i did fix this problem once, i dont know how it would work, but i accidentaly started counterstrike instead of firefox and then when i pushed cancel i was logged into everything.

yeah i have this problem on vista 32. i just learn to live with it. i just got my new laptop, which runs vista 64, and i dont have the problem.

do you have aim pro? thats what i use, because i had problems with my NIC on my desktop... something wrong with the 680i i guess.

well i've tried starting up with a bunch of stuff disabled/uninstalled as well.
rocketdock i disable AND uninstalled, no dice.
it seems like its already logged in, and it just takes a little while to refresh mabye? idk.. ill just get my cod4 disk back from my friend, format, and install xp.
unless of course someone else has a solution... my xfire login stops on getting groups if it helps... OH
mabye its trying to read all my screenshots i took and videos? ill delete those and see whats gonna happen
