Vista won't let me extend a partition??? - Overclock.net

I have a 15GB partition wit Vista on it and I obviously have to extend it, however when I go to manage the drives and I right click the one I want to extend, the "extend volume" is grayed out (I can't click on it).

Diskpart gives me the error message saying: "Diskpart failed to extend the volume. Please make sure the volume is valid for extending."

PLEASE HELP ME

With vista's tool you cannot extend the active or boot partitions. I think GParted on linux live CD (knoppix) can though.
