How much HDD Space is Required for
Option A Space Required for XP Pro (SP3 + Updates) + Operating Space? Option B Space Required for XP Pro (SP3 + Updates) & Office 2007 (only Word, Power point, Excel) + Operating Space? Option c Space Required for XP Pro (SP3 + Updates) & Office 2007 (only Word, Power point, Excel) + A Few small programs + Operating Space? The System is Intel Celeron 1.7GHz 256mb RAM 74GB HDD Thanx

A 20 GB partition is plenty. I have Windows XP Pro installed right now, with all the latest updates taking up about 6 GBs.

Yeah, though I don't have SP3, I do have all the updates that SP3 came with. So I think 20 should be fine, if that is all you are going to install.
__________________If not, just be sure to choose a different partition for your other applications when you install them. If not you could do, 20 GB partition: OS Office some file space XX GB Partition: Files Documents Etc.

I am at 5.2 gigs with XP Pro + SP3, Office XP, IE7, WMP 11, AVG, Zone Alarm, and about 5-6 other programs (Paint Shop Pro, Print Artist, etc).

i found that after installing sp3 then useing updates i only needed to install ike 3 updates, so its the same as sp2+ updates.
