Vista boot failed, stuck on TEMP user
My main user 'crashed' apparently, and i inserted the disc and it made a temp user.
NOW the problem is that after virus scans, malware/spyware etc scans and what have you i can find nothing that would be the underlying cause for a problem.  the only thing i remember from the error is that it had 'failed to boot'. Am i destined to reinstall my vista 64-bit or is there a way of saving my stuff? (i WOULD just reinstall but i have no way to save my important media, some of which cannot be replaced) ANY help would be greatly appreciated  EDIT: stuck on temp user STILL

I fix'd my problem.
All i had to do was creat a new Admin user and delete the other one (but select to save the data on desktop) Hopefully the 50+ views this thread got were from people who were just to busy to type about 10-15 words that would have fix'd my problem a week ago
