New to Overclock.net
|
I recently installed server 2003 on an ancient computer with no built in wireless reciever and so i popped in a wireless pci express card installed the software and rebooted. the only problem is, it doesnt find my router, it just sits there and says 'searching...' the whole time, kinda annoying...any help would be fantastic

Can other computers see the router wirelessly ?
Sounds like you may have a bad wireless card, try reseating it,reinstalling the drivers and checking with the manufacters website if there any forums maybe a support section with listed problems that may fit your criteria. Best of luck.

the card is not bad, neither is the router, other computers do see it...compatibility issue with server 2003?

Sounds like it, why would you want a wireless card in the server anyway ? Super-Slow transfer unless its wireless N.
