Default Dam administrator icon ... how can i get ride of it ?

I look around for a way to get ride of the Administrator icon that superpose on other icon ..any know a way !? *beg*

do you mean the shield on windows Vista? that comes on over desktop icons if you have UAC on?

You could turn off UAC, but that would slowly kill Vista.

No, it is proven that alot of the system depends on UAC, turning it off has many undesirable effects.

I've had UAC off for months and have yet to notice any undesirable effects. It's just a security measure to make sure "users" don't hurt their PC's with malicious programs that require administrative approval to run.

thanks all for the help . i dont really want to disable Uac , it was just the logo on my destop icons . UAC by itself is not slowing down anything just ... the process to open some programs so .. + rep
