Default wat does this error mean?
i used to able to open php files with winrar
now i get this error for any php files



and wat r .php files?
even when i try to download ventrilo its ina php file

.php is a web type format.

If you are downloading software files from the internet to install a program onto your HD, you should not have a .php extension. The "php" is actually part of a web address for a page that enables uploading.

Winrar doesn't support .php files. You can only open those in a browser or with a text editor. They are not executable or compressed files.

I'm not sure how you downloaded a php file, but if you are trying to get Ventrilo and Nero, try downloads that end in .exe or .zip.

Both have downloads that are executable files, which will bypass winrar altogether.

lol on the laptop tried to download same download type php
lol tried in IE7 then it was exe

php files are text files... any editor should open them...

based on the path, that's probably the trial... rename to .exe and double click on it...

it sounds like you right clicked on a link and saved the link file (php) instead of the program file itself
