AMD Overclocker
|
Alright, I built my new pc, and used the hard drive from my previous build. I hadn't uninstalled any of the old drivers, I just installed the new ones. Now on my new comp. I sometimes get a blue screen with the error message "Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Do you think I am getting the error because I didn't uninstall the old drivers, and if so, how can I go about uninstalling the old ones( In device manager only the new ones show up). Thanks.

It might have a recovery partition on the hardrive.... i think you just boot from that as you would your windows disk but im not sure as ive only ever installed windows from a disk
EDIT... if you have your serial number you could just download XP off the net and use your serial number to install and activate it
