Default Help with Outlook :(

I am having a website built and have been testing my e-mail address.

I had problems with the first, so they made me a second, then the first started working again, plus i have the postmaster one that i think you get as default.

The problem i have is, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO USE OUTLOOK 2007!

I have never used any outlooks before, but it seems to have been designed by a mental person!

I have been in account options and clicked "send from this account as default" for the account i wanna use, however, when i send an e-mail it's a complete lottery as to which address the e-mail is sent from!

I sent an e-mail and it came from the address i wanted it to, woo!

Then the person replied, so i clicked reply, but that e-mail was sent from postmaster!

Also, i have checked "show new mail desktop alert", as i could only recieve e-mails by closing outlook, then reopening.

This doesn't work either!

I sent myself an e-mail from hotmail, then waited 10 minutes....nothing.

So i closed outlook and quickly reopened it....then the new mail appears.

God i hate outlook!
