Thanks for the replies guys, Shes running i think about 46 processes.

Im gonna do a few things , im gonna run through the xp optimizer list parts 1+2 see which things ill change , prob run another scan or two as suggested prob in safe mode. I wanna apologise for being soo vague , but i do want opinions from all over so i didnt really want to narrow it down soo much.
I may in fact reinstall the os but , right now im really just trying to speed it up. I will probably break the mirror if i do a reinstall.

I wanna ask again Does pink in diskeeper meen low performing system files from an accessing prespective as if there may be a hard drive problem about to happen or does it just mean something else. I dont get it.

Im gonna take a ride over there in a few minutes and try to id all the processes running and all . Any other suggestions fellas keep em coming . Thanks

The pink files on diskeeper are system files that are being used. One way to try and narrow them down is to run a boot time defrag, which will allow the defrag to run without the system files being used.

Set the boot time defrag up and then restart. See if that clears up more of the pink files.

Also, is it possible for you to remove some of the running processes? If you have more than 40 running, depending on what they are, they can really drag the system down.
