Vista Experience Index....
So heres what I hit on a fresh install of Vista ultimate x64 on my sig rig.
Processor: Calculations Per Seconds 5.7 Memory(RAM): Memory operations per second: 5.9 Graphics: Desktop performance for Windows Aero: 5.9 Gaming graphics: 3D business and gaming graphics performance: 5.9 Primary hard disk: Disk data transfer rate: 5.9 Overall the composite score is 5.7 from the processor. Is this a good rating? I'll post proof if anyone cares enough.

Yeah it's fine. People only get like 5.8 on 4Ghz, like the only way to get 5.9 is with a quad. >.<

My E8400 gets 5.8 on stock...I've heard they need to be at around 4.3GHz to get a 5.9.

Windows Experience Index is not the best way to gauge your comps performance, but 5.7 is fairly awesome. I have a 4.2 on my old rig and i play most games max or close to.

I got 5.9 with my E8400 4.2 GHz
I just re-benchmarked with only 3.71 GHz and got 5.9 That's odd. Like most people say though, this benchmark doesn't mean much.

I managed 5.9.
I wanna say the e8400 was at 4.1. It doesnt really mean much to me personally. Although it does take some nice hardware to score this high or as high as your 5.7.

5.9 is the max so yeah - your score is good.
Ive seen editors that make it 9 rofl.

My system gets 4.9 due to my IDE HDD - everything else is at 5.9
My laptop is at 9.0 - but that's because i edited the file to make it say that....but it is normally about 3.8 i think
