Connect just the XP HDD...Or is it just a partition?
Then fix MBR on XP.

Yes, it's on a partition of the same HDD, and my boot.ini is also gone.
So even if it would be on an other HDD I doubt if it would boot..

Yep I did that before, the screen would show up but it still wouldn't boot..

EDIT: Here's a screenshot of EasyBCD on how it's configured now.. What am I missing?

Try going to diagnostic center and fixing the MBR/scan for errors that way.

First Try This-
In EasyBCD go to 'diagnosis center' and click 'Recreate Missing/Deleted boot files'. Then Click 'Rescue My System'. If that doesn't work just click the 'attempt recovery' button in the bootom right.

If that fails-
Insert XP CD- And Use The Fix MBR Tool Using These Steps- http://www.techzonez.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3975

If the Vista Boot Loader is then corrupted by the XP repair, Put in Vista DVD, Select the 'repair' option and it will fix the Vista Bootloader.

Hmm, pop in the vista cd, boot from it, go to repair tools, then fix my computer or something along that line. It should have a link for Startup Repair. Then after doing that, it should go into vista, so now use easyBCD to make the bootloader for XP.

@ coffeejunky, the fixmbr command didn't work. It only deleted the winXP entry again, booting straight into Vista.

@ofiveo, it boots perfectly fine in Vista already, just not into XP.

I've now created a complete backup of my Vista drive, maybe I'll just reformat it, see if I can get XP to work again that way, and if that fails as well, format the XP drive as well and just start all over..

At least I don't have to reinstall everything on Vista again that way..

Thanks for the help anyways
