Updating to 64 bit system

My PC can handle it but where do i acutaly get the update for the 64 bit? im running 32, on a 64bit business edition, it was free bite me but i can run a 64. Anyone give me a site or tell me how to download the update?
and just because i said it was free dosent mean i "ganked" it from a site or a store. I got it from school

You need to re-install Windows with a 64-bit version of Windows Vista.

Okay i can do that, it is a 64 bit version but i belive it asked do i want it in 32 and i selected that, My bro came over and said it was compatable for 64, ( nerotoxen ) so i just decided to up the anti

Good. 64 bit operating systems can handle like over a TB of RAM haha.

Current CPUs don't though. The actual memory address space in AMD64 is something like 56-bit, and on EMT64 (intel) it is 48-bit. I may have those numbers off a little, but they are close. So you will only be "limited" to a couple hundred gigabytes of RAM in a real life scenario.

Haha, or only what the motherboard can handle/support. I was just saying that the 64-bit OS's can take a ridiculous amount of RAM

Format your HD. Install a clean x64bit OS in your HD and everything will be Superb.

+1 you cannot upgrade to x64. You can however use the same programs in most cases if you have them saved to a different parititon but not many people do that. x64 has a 32bit emulator i believe that allows x86 apps to run in the 64bit OS.
