Default XP Raid install questions

Ok I am gonna partition off a small bit of my RAID drive to dual boot XP on it as well

Does XP need RAID drivers unlike VISTA (assuming yes)

Can it be done via flash drive?

How reliable is SP3?

This may help. Multiple OS on 1 RAID is risky though. I would just pick up another hard drive for around$50-60 and you will save yourself the hassle.

Here is a way to do it with an USB key. I did if for Intel raid drivers but you can do it with any raid drivers. You could also use nlite to slipstream the drivers into the XP CD.

As far as SP3 some AMD based HP machines had some problem and if you use WINXP MCE I wouldnt load it because it breaks media center, had to reload to be able to connect to my extender. Otherwise I havent really seen any difference.

Oh!

Well as someone said, MultiOS + RAID is risky... Can I ask why (other than basic risks of RAID which I see of no concern for next years)

And I do have another drive to use... I would prefer to use my RAID drive though... Its faster
