Default Internet browsers don't work with working connection

A new problem with my mom's computer: Internet browsers won't load anything despite having a working connection(meaning I can log onto online games).

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Uninstall all browsers and then install/reinstall firefox and try.

Also check proxy settings.
