Default Vista memory hard faults?

Do hard faults pose a problem for system stability? I have googled this and found many people saying that it can cause slow downs, but if you have enough memory not to worry. My hard faults stay between 0 and 105, but sometimes reach over 400. My 6gbs are overclocked from 800 to 1000mhz. They have passed memtest for more than 6 hrs. Do you think that the memory is causing the faults or it is just a Vista problem? Can I do anything to fix it?
