This is the way we install Windows where I work, but we have the .WIM on a network location, and install over the network

Same thing we do at my place of work. We also deploy them differently, and with answer files so we don't have to deal with any set ups.

Word... I've been using Acronis TrueImage for about 5 years now. Does the same thing with a few mouse clicks.

WinPE is a good idea, however the execution (typical MS) sucks. How about they simply add a 1-click "Create Boot/Image DVD" option to Control Panel? No need for this archaic command line BS these days.
