move programfiles to a different partition

How do I move program files to a different partition? I want to move it because i want windows on its own partition and all my gfames and everything else on another so that is i have to reinstall windows my games and everything are still there

errrmmm you could try partition magic, but really its best to boot from the xp cd and format the drive then create new partitions one for games, one for windows that should be about 30gigs for windows and programs and stuff, thats what i did, i put the other stuff as 10gigs and 20gigs.

i did that i just need to move program files the windows partition is 10gig the hames is 120 and then a pagefile one that is 1 gig

It won't work that way.
Games and applications that are installed on the system have particular registry parameters in the windows install. Having your games on another partition, and reformatting your windows partition will require reinstalling anyways.

im doing daily backups of registry to solve that problem i know that when i reinstall i will need to clean the regristry from stuff that got deleted with windows but thats ok

taking registry back ups lol, youre going about that the wrong way man, registry backups are used for say if you get a really bad virus, you can load the good registry after the virus is cleaned out and such, you dont take registry backups for games.
