Default "My Network Places"... gone !

Hello,

Actually, that's the items in "My Network Places" that have vanished.
When I double-click on the icon, I get nothing at all: no "Add Network Place", no 'Entire Network", no nothing...
That occured after doing some tweaking (mostly services), and now I can't pinpoint where's the problem's from
I still can access the network through ping, ftp, and the like.
The remote partitions I've mounted can still be accessed and are visibile.

Anyone know how I can get those icons/files back, so I can browse my network ?

The only thing you can do is go into MSCONFIG and enable all microsoft services and see if it appears, or you may have to reinstall windows.

Network connections are ok, it's just that now I can't add any (though I think of some way to do it nonetheless), and that I can't explore the network... which will be a pain when playing in LANs ^^

OK, I can still create new "network places shortcuts", but can't browse the LAN...
Any clue, guys ? :/

Take a peek... you might see what you disabled by mistake
blackviper

Try the "Power User" settings for Gaming

"Network Connections" perhaps!

Well, anyway you cut it you can get back to default and start over!
