Service Pack -

(n.) An update to a software version that fixes an existing problem, such as a bug, or provides enhancements to the product that will appear in the next version of the product. When the new product version is released, it usually contains the fixes and updates from the service pack. Service packs can either be downloaded or ordered directly from the company.

But whatever you do, do NOT install SP2 if you already have a bunch of junk on your comp cause it'll screw it all up. I did it once, and my comp would start restarting randomly, and before it'd boot up all the way, it would restart again, so I had to go in safe mode and get rid of it...now I have this "Updates are ready for your computer" at the bottom right every time I get on. Screw SP2!

So if I wanted I could just buy Xp SP1 and then get a free upgrade to 2? Or is it a buy to use kinda deal.
