Default i have a problem now after installing sp3.
upgraded from home to pro on XP.
everything went fine and got it verfied.
installed 15 windows updates.
then windows update poped up with an update for service pack 3.
it downloaded and installed fine.
now any new update i get from windows will download
but the install will fail.
my little yellow icon keeps poping up telling me the updates are ready to be
installed.
i click yes and then a box will pop up stating the updates failed to install.
this has happened several times now.

what can i do to fix this????????

ok i will run the cleaner.
updates kb 941569, kb 950759, and kb 947864.
one for ie 7, one for security, and one for media player 9-11.

yes im shutting it down right.
ran the cleaner.
restarted computer, icon popped up telling me their ready.

try that(uninstill sp3 & then see what happens,when that happen to me i had to reformat,i even tried to do a repair to windows,but it didn't work,so i had to reformat,good luck

i'll uninstall sp3 and see what happens.

u can also try to do a system restore.that might work to.

Or repair,xp its the first update.I just made a partion on my 320 and dual boot xp and vista 32 bit free ultm works great.
