Download Folder Gone??
Ok I fixed it... Even though i have System Restore turned off It still had a recent restore point from yesterday so I have gone back and merged the original folder and the desktop one back to the User directory.
Pain in the butt

look in computer>local disk C:>users>deadlock
__________________see if it's there, if not, I think it's gone for good. unless you moved it, then just do a search for it.

I just dont see how deleting a shortcut can delete the original folder, the icon showed the shortcut arrow on it. Blooody annoying Vista sometimes, like now you can delete the recycle bin, and getting it back was a pain as in the help section it dont tell you how.
