Default ARGH Windows Defender

I hate that feature, why did I ever move to Vista!

Oh that's right... DX10... crap.

Well anyway, windows deffender keeps blocking my ports in uTorrent (legal purposes) and will not comply with Adobe Updater. I tried to disable it in msconfig, but it keeps showing up and bugging me every time i start my PC up.

When i go to control panel and try to disable it from there, it gives me an error saying that something stopped it from launching so I guess it's the disable in msconfig.exe, so ill try enabling it from there, and restarting my computer to see if it will do anything, but I highly doubt this ugly feature will die out.

Anybody have any ideas how I can disable this stupid thing? Any update I need to get or something?

Ok i did all that, and this frikin thing just won't go away. It's disabled and it wont open, nor does it interfere with utorrent anymore, but it still shows up in the taskbar every time i turn the PC on, and it warns me about blocked programs with the little bubble.

Whatefock!

I've never had a problem with Windows Defender, but when I used msconfig to block startup programs, I would always get a bubble notification on boot.

Try using autoruns instead. It is much better, and you won't get any warning bubbles.
