Default Installers freeze while putting shortcuts
I jsut installed windows and all the installers freeze at the point where they are placing shortcuts on my desktop. They just stop responding, and there is no shortcut. Why is this?

thats strange man.... wow... i would try and reinstall windows
and make sure the "windows installer service" is on

get the latest service pack if ur using an OS other than XP
get the lastest fix if ur using XP

some ppl say SP2 for XP wont work properly if u install it after...
but think it's fixed now
