Hey guys... camehome this morning and found that my desktop was BSOD'd.... So I wrote down the info.. I'll put it below... but on top of that... now I can't get it to even Post.... You turn the rig on... and the video card fan goes to full speed.... and i get no video signal at all to my monitor....
Here was the BSOD I got... IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP: 0x0000000A (0XFFFFFGFC00041AF0, 0X0000000000000002, 0X0000000000000000, 0XFFFFF80001A328BA) Any Ideas? Its a pretty fresh install of Vista x64 bit on the specs you see below.... Had no problems since the install until now. -Sidious ![]()

You break it, I fix it

most IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL errors are ram related problems.
Cause This bug check is issued if paged memory (or invalid memory) is accessed when the IRQL is too high. The error that generates this bug check usually occurs after the installation of a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS. If you encounter bug check 0xA while upgrading to a later version of Microsoft® Windows®, this error might be caused by a device driver, a system service, a virus scanner, or a backup tool that is incompatible with the new version. Resolving the Problem If a kernel debugger is available, obtain a stack trace.

pull your cmos battery IRQL is normally memory or cpu related
after you pull the cmos batter you should post enter bios & load bios defaults then reboot once in windows shutdown then take the power supply out of the plug socket reinsert your cmos battery ! put the plug for the power supply back in power on and you should post again go back into bios set your ram timings etc.. save exit and it will boot back into windows. hope this helps

kk when i get hoem from work tomorrow I'll do a cmos reset. Thing is. I recently just memtested my RAM and it passed 3 times in a row.... No new drivers have been isntalled recently. And the BIOS is stock atm pretty much, few minor tweaks, no OC or nothing though.
I'll get back to you guys tomorrow ![]() Thanks
