Default Question about My Music folder in Vista.

All of my music is on my D:.

My Vista is on my C:.

I redirected the vista "My Music" folder to the music folder on my D:.

It is now tied together, and works correctly.

My question is: when I format my PC, will windows take out all of my music on my D drive because they are now tied together?

Or is my music still safe if I choose to format later.

it will most likely wipe out the music in the c drive but i think is should leave everything in the d drive alone unless u obviously format it a well.

i would advise you to disconnect the music drive so you wont lose your music and you can feel 100% better when reformating
